If teachers would like to support pupils in applying for funded places on the Accelerate programme, they should first complete the Accelerate 2025 Funded Place Applicant Details spreadsheet of pupils who are interested in attending the programme. This will allow us to see if pupils match our widening access criteria and we will award places on the programme based on this.
All potential applicants should also complete the Accelerate Pupil Personal Statement form explaining why they would like to participate in the programme. The pupils’ statements will also be taken into consideration in the selection process.
The deadline for expressions of interest for places is 21st March. If you have interested pupils, please return this spreadsheet and the pupils’ personal statements to accelerate-programme@strath.ac.uk by then.
Schools should share the Accelerate Funded Place Privacy Notice with pupils whose details you are sending us.
Applying for a funded place is the first part of the overall application process for the Accelerate programme. The Accelerate 2025 School Application Process is a guide for teachers detailing the full process.
