The Glasgow Goes Green Festival is an annual event organised by an inter-institutional team with members from The University of Glasgow, The Glasgow School of Art, Glasgow Caledonian University and The University of Strathclyde.
The festival features a packed day of events with several stalls from sustainable businesses and artists, live performances from local musicians, writers and spoken word artists, as well as exciting talks and workshops relating to sustainable living and activism.

Ways to get involved
- volunteering: on the day of the festival, lots of volunteer posts are available to help support the event and ensure it runs smoothly
- exhibiting: if you have a sustainable campaign, business or project of any kind that would benefit from connecting with new people, you're invited to apply to run a stall at the event
- performance art: for performance artists of all kinds, there will be a call out every year for musicians, poets, spoken word artists and similar to perform at the event
- speakers and workshop facilitators: it's so important to hear from young voices in relation to climate change so if you’re interested in giving a talk or running a workshop as part of the event, there will be call outs for this too
- attend!: most importantly, the best way to experience the whole festival is to attend where you’ll be able to engage with a diverse range of artists, sustainability experts, business owners and community groups in a day of fun events
