A growing suite of training on safeguarding and wellbeing themes is available to staff and students.
The Safeguarding Team have developed a MyPlace course; ‘Safe360° Introduction to Safeguarding for Staff’, and deliver tailored face-to-face training upon request. Please contact safeguarding@strath.ac.uk for information.
University staff can also access a range of training courses on a range of safeguarding themes via the Wellbeing section of the Development and Training (DAT) booking system.

The Wellbeing Hub provides training on Staff Wellbeing, Mental Health and Suicide Awareness Training and Mental Health Training for Managers.
Equality & Diversity Courses
The Equality & Diversity Office offer a range of courses including courses linked to registration such as the #StrathEqual: equality, diversity and inclusion for students and the Tackling Gender-based Violence Courses.
Prevent Duty
Access training courses on the Prevent duty, the threat from terrorism and extremism in the UK and how to support people susceptible to radicalisation.
