Unacceptable behaviour has no place at Strathclyde and we will not tolerate any form of discrimination (for example, racism), harassment, victimisation, or bullying.
University guidance and support
This Equality and Diversity page provides information on where to go for support and advice, and how to report concerns and incidents
At Strathclyde, we are proud to stand with our lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and non-binary, queer and questioning, and intersex students and staff, and with the wider LGBTQI+ community. For information on our activity, policies, and research, or to get involved, visit: LGBTQI | University of Strathclyde
The Ask Alex service for trans, non-binary and gender-diverse students and staff connects named contacts working across the University who can provide advice, assistance and support in a range of areas. The named contacts act as a friendly first port-of-call who can coordinate support or find out information on your behalf.
LGBTQ+ Support available more widely:
LGBT Health and Wellbeing has a list of organisations providing Community Services and Support and free and confidential support for LGBT+ asylum seekers and refugees (16+) in Scotland at New Scots
LGBT Youth Scotland: The Youth work team offer different types of support and signposts to Crisis Support.
