The University of Strathclyde has been nominated in four categories of the Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCA), including University of the Year.

Strathclyde has also been shortlisted for the Student Life and Halls and Student Accommodation categories, while Strath Union is in contention for the Student Union award.

Students' reviews

WUSCA are decided exclusively by students, on the basis of the thousands of reviews they submit through the Whatuni website and during campus visits. Whatuni then takes the data and uses it to calculate the awards winners.

The winners are to be announced at a ceremony in London on 21 May, hosted by television presenter and comedian Alexander Armstrong.

Professor Sir Jim McDonald, Vice-Chancellor and Principal of Strathclyde, said:

The quality of our students’ experience, not only educationally but also in their everyday and social lives, is central to what we offer as a university.

“Their positive reviews are an endorsement of the education, services and support we deliver, with the aim of helping them to be fulfilled as students and in order to prepare them for successful, productive futures.”
