Description: 3-5 internships are available per year to students who have taken part in Vertically Integrated Projects for Sustainable Development (VIP4SD). The scheme enables students to develop their VIP4SD project work over the summer, work closely with their supervising mentor, and develop their professional and sustainability skills. Students have the opportunity to present work at conferences and contribute to research papers.

Timings and duration: Information on how to apply is sent directly to current VIP4SD students in February of each year. The deadline for applications to the internship scheme is in late March. Internships can be full-time or part-time and between 6 and 8 weeks in duration. Interns are paid the National Living Wage (£10.42 per hour) for the duration of the internship.
