Summary

To support prospective students intending to commence studies on undergraduate degrees offered at the University of Strathclyde, Bahrain, in September 2025, our partners S-Eleven Educational are generously offering a number of partial sponsorships through their Thrive Awards scheme. 

The Thrive Awards have a value equivalent to 20% of the tuition fee for the relevant course, and are awarded in each year of study.

Eligibility

The Thrive Awards are open to students intending to study on one of the following undergraduate degrees offered at the University of Strathclyde, Bahrain:

The awards are not available to students planning to enrol on courses delivered at the University of Strathclyde campus in Glasgow, or by distance or online learning.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants should have the following:

  • Bahraini citizenship
  • a cumulative high school CGPA of no less than 85% (or recognised equivalent)
  • be in receipt of an offer of a place on an undergraduate degree at the University of Strathclyde, Bahrain for September 2025 entry
  • fulfil any academic prerequisites and/or other conditions outlined in their Strathclyde offer letter prior to enrolment

Sponsorships are competitively awarded, based on academic merit and the presentation of a strong case for funding. When completing your application for a Thrive Award, you may wish to highlight relevant achievements in the following categories:

  • active involvement in extra-curricular activities
  • accomplishments in fields such as art, sports, science or technology
  • demonstrated commitment to community service through volunteer work or initiatives
  • proven leadership skills through roles in school, community organisations, or other positions

Applications will be reviewed and candidates notified of their result by S Eleven Educational on an ongoing basis through the application period, which will run from 1 February to 31 May 2025. 

Please Note: the Thrive Awards are neither administered nor awarded by the University of Strathclyde.
