Summary

To celebrate the 850th anniversary of the city of Glasgow, we are delighted to offer scholarships to all eligible postgraduate taught, self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying students, joining an on-campus course in the Faculty of Science in September 2025.

The value of these scholarship awards is £5,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees. 

This scholarship will be awarded automatically and no application is necessary. Please note that the scholarship details will be added to your student record once payment of deposit has been received and the funds will be automatically deducted from your overall tuition fees. 

Following the deadline of 31 May 2025, the first phase of scholarships will be reviewed and more may be released.

Eligibility

  • The value of the Science: Glasgow 850 International Masters Scholarships, September 2025 is £5,000 and will be deducted from your tuition fees. 
  • The scholarships are available for eligible self-funded, international (non-EU) fee-paying applicants enrolling on a full-time course with the University of Strathclyde’s campus in Glasgow, starting September 2025 only.
  • The scholarships cannot be deferred or transferred to any other entry points. 
  • This scholarship is worth £5,000 and will be awarded automatically on receipt of deposit payment until 31st May 2025. No application is necessary.
  • Those who receive full sponsorship from a government office or embassy are not eligible for these scholarships.
  • Students are only eligible for one scholarship per academic year from the University of Strathclyde.
  • Students who do not meet the required criteria will automatically not be considered.
  • The Faculty of Science’s decision on the awarding of scholarships is final. Appeals will not be considered.
