Other OLY/CWG/PARA sport scholarships
The University of Strathclyde offers some of the most competitive Sport Scholarships in the UK. Regardless of Sport, all Sport Scholars receive a comprehensive support package to help them reach their sporting and academic potential.
Whilst sport scholarship support is focused toward those competing in one of our Performance Sports, we also support exceptional athletes competing in Commonwealth, Olympic and Paralympic Games Sports.
Selection criteria
Applicants should be on a GB or national pathway and demonstrate the potential to compete in either the Commonwealth, or Summer/Winter Olympic or Paralympic Games within the current 4-year games cycle.
As a guide, applicants should have:
- achieved the most recently published CWG/OLY/PARA Games selection standards for GB or their home nation
- selected for Olympic World Class Performance Programme
- competed in the Commonwealth Youth Games
In addition, our Performance team may also identify potential badminton scholars during the admissions process.
Level of study
