Personal statement

I am a senior teaching fellow (Associate Professor Scholarship) in the Department of Management Science where I also received my PhD and MSc. I teach subjects related to operations management, ERP and technical risk management. I have been the director of the MSc Business Analysis and Consulting Programme and International Master Project Management for the last 6 years. I am a senior fellow of The Higher Education Academy. My research interest lies in the area of supply chain management and Industry 4.0 in general. In particular, I am interested in the supply chain risk and resilience analysis, digital supply chains, operations innovation and supply chain management of the renewable energy sector. I am supervising currently PhD projects in these areas. I am happy to supervise new PhD students who have the same research interests and able to demonstrate the application of their research to support decision-makers using real case studies.
