Dr. Zhang Fengquan is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, serving as the Discipline Leader of Design Engineering at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Dr. Zhang's research interests encompass innovation in multimodal human-computer interaction, cognitive neuroscience and intelligent medicine, 3D digital content generation, intelligent media computing, and the cultural creativity of intangible cultural heritage. He has authored more than 50 academic articles in prestigious journals and conferences, including VRCAI, PG, ICIP, CAEE, IJNM, IJMLC, MTAP, Neurocomputing, JIVP, WCMC, Computer Science Journal, and Computer-Aided Design & Graphics, and is also the holder of 6 authorized invention patents, with applications in various fields such as biomedical, aerospace, industrial manufacturing, virtual teaching, urban transportation, popular science culture, and digital entertainment visualization. 

Besides, Dr Zhang has been recognized as a young top talent in Beijing's "Gao Chuang Plan" and has enriched his academic profile with a Visiting Scholar position at the National Animation Center, Bournemouth University, UK. Additionally, Dr. Zhang holds the position of Deputy Director of the Digital Media Committee at the China Graphics Society. He has been the principal investigator for over 10 national, ministerial, and municipal projects spanning natural science and humanities social science, and accolades include the Second Prize of Beijing Municipal Teaching Achievement, Second Prize of Beijing Youth Teacher Social Survey, Outstanding Graduate Design Instructor of Beijing, and the title of Excellent Instructor for University Teachers and Students Serving the Capital, Beijing.
