This half-day course provides an overview of the key elements of effective research data management, including:

• Using Strathcloud & Pure to manage research data
• Complying with funder research data policies
• Writing data management plans
• Research integrity and research data management

It's suitable for researchers who are currently EPSRC funded, or expect to be EPSRC funded in the future.

This includes research students receiving EPSRC funding for their studentship, via a doctoral training centre.

This course introduces attendees to the EPSRC policy framework on research data, and helps researchers understand how to comply with the policy.

• Pure, Strathclyde's research information management system,
• Open Access to publications,
• and Research Data Management.
