Tekla Tedds & Structural Design Suite is a library of engineering proformas used primarily by structural engineers. It is widely used in industry and has been proven to be a user-friendly and powerful tool.

The proformas cover a range of standard engineering calculations such as:

• Loading
• Analysis
• Design of beams slabs, columns etc. in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber
• Connection designs
• Drainage

Is this software right for me?

This software can be used by staff or students, on university or personal computers, whether that is a laptop or desktop, both on and off campus, solely for teaching purposes.

How do I get it?

Download Tekla Structural Design Suite

To run the software requires a University of Strathclyde Tekla account. If you are using the software as part of a class you will have been provided with an account by the class instructor.

All other staff and students can contact darren.grant@strath.ac.uk to obtain a Tekla account.
