Costing and Pricing Module (CPM)
The Costing and Pricing Module (CPM) replaces pFACT: a software tool designed to support the costing of projects under Full Economic Costing principles.
CPM is linked to payroll information (including banded levels where appropriate) and is set up to automatically calculate the associated Indirect costs and Estates Charges within each faculty.
CPM has replaced pFACT and is currently being rolled out across the University for processing of Research Activity. The authorisation process will be coordinated using the online tool.
CPM can be accessed via FMS (link via Pegasus / Finance tab). Please note that access to CPM will only be available to registered users.
How to register for CPM
Heads of Department were asked to specify personnel within their Departments who should have access to CPM. If your name was put forward, you should have received an mail informing you of your username and password for the system. If you have not received this email, ask your Head of Department to write to costingfec@strath.ac.uk giving permission for you to be registered to use the system. The following details should be included in the e-mail:
- Subject Line: CPM Account Not Received Yet
- Message: Your Name, Faculty, Department, DS user ID (username when you log in to server/Pegasus) and email address
If your name was not originally put forward but it has now been decided that you will require access to CPM, ask your Head of Department to write to costingfec@strath.ac.uk giving permission for you to be registered to use the system. The following details should be included in the e-mail:
