Undergraduate students, we want to hear from you!

Launched in semester two of 2024, the Strath Voice - Undergraduate survey asks you about your wider experience at Strathclyde in the past academic year. It covers topics such as community, sustainability and support for learning at Strathclyde. You can help us identify areas of good practice and areas that need more attention to enhance the experience of students at Strathclyde like you!

 

Why should I participate?

The survey itself should only take around 5 minutes to complete. In 5 minutes, you can take part, help the University make informed change and improve the experience of you and students like you! Your feedback is powerful and can bring about positive change at Strathclyde!

How do I participate?

All undergraduate students not included in the NSS should be able to participate. If eligible, you will receive an invitation and reminders to your Strathclyde email address with your unique link to the survey when the survey is running.

Is the survey anonymous?

No, the survey isn't anonymous but only the staff in Education Enhancement will be able to access your individual responses. The results of the survey are reported on in aggregate format, so no individuals are identifiable. Reports and summaries are created at Faculty, Department and course level, where the number of respondents exceeds our publication threshold. All free text comments are redacted to prevent the identification of individuals before being distributed to Heads of Department. We take measures to ensure you shouldn't be identified from your responses so you can be completely honest in the survey!

How are the results used?

Reports from the survey are sent to senior University Managers, Heads of Departments and course leaders. The results are also viewed by relevant committees within the University. The findings from the survey inform decisions made to improvements to the student experience at Strathclyde. Your feedback matters!
