Why am I asked for feedback on my module?
Your views, expressed through student module evaluation, is at the heart of our data-led approach to enhancement and decision-making, providing greater understanding of student feedback and its impact on the student experience. Feedback on your module can lead to changes that improve your student experience. Student module evaluation gives departments direct feedback they can use to identify what works well within the modules they teach and what needs further development.
As well as helping to improve the student experience, you can also opt in to a prize draw and try to win £300 online voucher!
When am I asked for feedback on my module?
You should get a request to complete a student module evaluation at least once, near the end of the module and often twice (one mid module) for every taught module you are registered for each semester. This may mean you have a number of student module evaluations to complete, but each one is usually only around 10 tick boxes with 2 free text questions.
Your feedback goes directly to your department to allow staff to act on and respond directly to your student feedback.
When completing your student module evaluations, please make sure that your feedback is respectful, honest and constructive in line with the University's Dignity and Respect Policy.
