European Conference for Social Work Research
The European Conference for Social Work Research started yesterday in the University of Edinburgh and a number of our staff and PhD students are presenting their work, including: Dr Chris Jones on Permanence and sibling relationships; Dr Gillian MacIntyre on the role of social workers in supporting parents with learning disabilities; Dr Sally Paul on 'The role of social work in developing community capacity around end-of-life and bereavement experiences; Professor Andrew Kendrick and Moyra Hawthorn on historic abuse; and Anne-Marie Monaghan on the insider/outsider status of the researcher.
