Talking Hope

Emma Miller has been awarded funding from the European Social Fund (Social Innovation Fund) along with colleagues from the Institute for Inspiring Children’s Futures. The innovation project entitled “Talking Hope” aims to promote more hopeful conversations with young people whose behavior presents risk of significant harm, and the people who work with them.

The main external partner for Talking Hope is the Good Shepherd secure care centre.  The project will also involve colleagues from East Ayrshire Council, Ayrshire and Arran health board and the Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services.

Initial funding lasts for six months with potential for follow up funding.
