In January, Professor Yvette Taylor from the School of Education gave a keynote presentation at the Embodied Citizenship event at the University of Nottingham around her new book Making Space for Queer Identifying Religious Youth (Palgrave, 2015).  She has also, with PhD student Ellis Morgan, been awarded £1000 by the British Sociological  Association. They will host an Early Career Forum Regional Event at Strathclyde on ‘TransForming Research Practice: Developing Transgender Inclusive Research’ (2016).  Scottish Transgender Alliance has provided match funding for this event.
