2016The Scottish Educational Review Best Paper Award

Congratulations to University of Strathclyde MEd graduate, Paul Campbell who has won the Scottish Educational Review (SER) Best Paper Award.  The award acknowledges and celebrates well-written papers that make a significant contribution to their field. The award was presented to the Paul at the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement in Glasgow in January.  The theme of the conference was ‘Connecting teachers, schools and systems: Creating the conditions for effective learning’.  Paul’s paper was called ‘Teacher Agency in Education Policy Development’ and was a result of his MEd dissertation.  To be considered for the award, the paper must be written by a doctoral student or early career who is studying or working in a Scottish University and must have a strong research focus on educational policy and practice in one of the following contexts: school education, Further Education or Higher Education.
