• The combination of having booming metropolitan areas and vast landscapes with diverse climates. China is a country with great career prospects for westerners and can be a great place to explore as a tourist

Best opportunity learning Chinese has given you

• Being a summer school co-ordinator for Chinese students in Glasgow. Also guiding the Chinese Ambassador around the city was a fantastic opportunity.

Do you have future plans involving Chinese?

• Continuing involvement with CISS Alumni: hosting more China related events, attending Chinese classes – overall promoting Mandarin and language learning across Scotland.
