Strathclyde Part 3 exam success
We're celebrating our students' success in the 2016 Architects Professional Examination in Scotland
Professional Studies Advisor Colin McNeish reports,
Following the Part 3 Examinations at APEAS I am very pleased to announce that the Strathclyde cohort of 45 candidates did very well again this year (2016). The pass rate was 87%, one point ahead of the overall average for Scotland at 86%. While there were no outstanding candidates the number achieving a pass was higher and this continues to maintain the high quality of graduates passing into the profession as registered architects. We still have by far the most candidates sitting compared with the other 4 schools in Scotland and the higher numbers reflect a growing confidence in the work place generally.
'Furthermore there are even more students signed up for the next two years, which means that I can leave the next cohort in good hands as I retire. A fulfilling note on which to bow out after 17 years in the role of Professional Studies Adviser.'
