PCAD are developing technology designed to make an improvement to the way lower limb prosthetics are fitted, by automating technology of casting with state-of-the-art, computer-aided design scanning technology for the first time. The prize money was used to undertake an independent gap analysis prior to redesigning a prototype fit for testing in a clinical environment.
