Prof Graeme Acheson

Professor of Finance in the Strathclyde Business School at University of Strathclyde and the Principal Investigator of ‘The Entrepreneurs who Made Glasgow’ research project. His research applies contemporary economic techniques to historical settings, especially in the context of firm performance in the evolving legal environment of nineteenth century Britain.

 

Prof Linda Perriton 

Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of Stirling. She researches the history of women in management and business.

 

Prof Eoin McLaughlin

Professor of Economics in the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot-Watt University. He researches historical economic development and environmental economics.

 

Gill Newton 

Research Associate at Strathclyde Business School working on The Entrepreneurs Who Made Glasgow research project. Her research interests include the application of large-scale datasets to historical research and demographic history.
